Any owners in the area on here? Looking for someone who has had a carbon clean done and where. Called two dealers today and no one seems to know right away what I mean by a "carbon clean". And I'm too annoyed to call any others as I've spent 15+ minutes with each one putting me on hold and getting back on and also not having anyone who's done the clean yet. I'd rather take it to someone with a bit more experience. Thanks

I can not imagine a dealer who does not know about carbon cleaning. They all do here in Colorado.

My daughter is moving from Seattle to Chicago (Naperville) and I asked in the forums who to take her Audi to when she moves there.
The response was:

If the car is under warranty, Continental is right there in Naperville and a supporter of the club.

If out of warranty, CPT is the shop of choice for most here, though not in Naperville.

Not sure where you live but up near the IL / WI border Ed at Import Auto Repair services both my Audi's. He does good work and is honest. He also does a lot of performance work and race prep. This should not be a problem for him. His number is 815-675-1326.

The problem with calling the dealer is the service advisor doesn't know how things get done in the shop. Trust me the experienced techs know how to do a carbon cleaning. Tell me which dealer you want to go to and I will tell you which tech to ask for.
