Compliments to you guys. Saw RS4 for first time at dealer today. That is one bada$$ car. My favorite
part is the wheels. Design is nice and yikes the silver finish is just perfect. Kinda looks painted but has something about it that looks like perfect aluminum. That said, there was an S6 parked right next to it. If you could get them for the exact same price (unlikely I know but go with me here), why would I pick the RS4 over the S6?

RS4 because..
It would be a tossup for me, but I would take the RS4 for its badass looks, better acceleration, more nimble handling, manual tranny and lastly the fact that it is a quattro gmbh RS car.

S6 wasn't available when I got my RS4, for one....
two, the RS4 performance is significantly better than the S6 in every category. And three, if I want to drive a bigger, sporty-luxury sedan, I have a 750i. If the S6 had been available when I bought the 750i (Feb 2006)....I would have at least considered it.

IMO, the cars are very different... the RS4 looks awesome while to me the S6 looks a bit sedate.
Both seem to have been recieving very good press and reviews. To me it would depend on the needs.... or just get both:^).
