Default Connecticut Meet Up?

Anyone in the fairfield county area want to do a meet up? I'm like 40 mins out from NYC, some great "passenger vehicles only" highways around here. Anyone interested?

There's a group that does a NYC/Bear Mountain Run every spring. I've been meaning to attend for the past few years but something always comes up. I'll try to make it this year.

Keep an eye on this thread posted at quattroworld.

Sub, I am in Boston but used to live in Fairfield and in-laws are in Danbury CT. Would be interested in a meetup if one comes together. I am itching to try my RS on the Saw Mill and a quick run on 684. I got my old B6 S4 up to 128mph on 684 one day running out of NYC with an M3 and a CLK and hit 137mph on an empty Sunday morning on I-84 once (personal highest for me) so you are truly in a nice spot to run these cars out.

Be careful on 84, I live in Southbury and see tons of speed traps through the Waterbury-Danbury corridor.

Sorry to be the voice of reasoning but....

If your looking to do triple digit speeds, I recommend buying a helmet and hitting the track instead of getting a ticket for reckless driving or even worse, killing someone.

I'd love to get a bunch of us up to Lime Rock. I run up there every year with SCDA http://www.scda1.com/ an excellent organization that I highly recommend.

Default ct meet up

I ran in the Bear Mt run two years ago - first and only for me and it was a blast - 16 cars, all flavors. Mine is my DD and I get around a lot - earlier this week a run from Kingston NY up to Oneonta through the mountains on Rt 28 - great ride and some places to open her up. Next month heading out to Illinois, where there are many long straight roads to try out. Can't wait.
I-684 traffic hauls and there are selective areas to motor - depending on traffic. Western Mass Pike is the same way. Wish I could run at Lime Rock but no Cabs allowed without real rollbars.

I am game; why don't we meet up at EPL and check out his (tony) tune. After my new exhaust, been meaning to get a tune and ask him about DPs, etc.

Or, we just all do a coffee meet up; the weather is holding up

fluevog, I hear you on the triple digits, just can't help myself every once in a while we you see a stretch of three empty lanes :-)

Nice shot of the Bear Mtn run!
