Connecticut Meet Up?
Anyone in the fairfield county area want to do a meet up? I'm like 40 mins out from NYC, some great "passenger vehicles only" highways around here. Anyone interested?

Sub, I am in Boston but used to live in Fairfield and in-laws are in Danbury CT. Would be interested in a meetup if one comes together. I am itching to try my RS on the Saw Mill and a quick run on 684. I got my old B6 S4 up to 128mph on 684 one day running out of NYC with an M3 and a CLK and hit 137mph on an empty Sunday morning on I-84 once (personal highest for me) so you are truly in a nice spot to run these cars out.

Be careful on 84, I live in Southbury and see tons of speed traps through the Waterbury-Danbury corridor.
Sorry to be the voice of reasoning but....
If your looking to do triple digit speeds, I recommend buying a helmet and hitting the track instead of getting a ticket for reckless driving or even worse, killing someone.
I'd love to get a bunch of us up to Lime Rock. I run up there every year with SCDA http://www.scda1.com/ an excellent organization that I highly recommend.

ct meet up
I ran in the Bear Mt run two years ago - first and only for me and it was a blast - 16 cars, all flavors. Mine is my DD and I get around a lot - earlier this week a run from Kingston NY up to Oneonta through the mountains on Rt 28 - great ride and some places to open her up. Next month heading out to Illinois, where there are many long straight roads to try out. Can't wait.
I-684 traffic hauls and there are selective areas to motor - depending on traffic. Western Mass Pike is the same way. Wish I could run at Lime Rock but no Cabs allowed without real rollbars.
