Default Is this a correct oil drain plug crush washer for RS4

I will try to do my first oil change on my RS4. I got an oil filter and oil drain plug crush washer from a dealership today. After I searched about oil change, I found 6 mm hex socket is used to unscrew the drain plug. I measured the washer and the diameter is 1.25 inch. The size of 6 mm socket for the drain plug and 1.25 inch for the washer do not match. Is this the correct washer for RS4? And should engine temperature be cold or hot while I change engine oil?

Default Nope. Its the wrong one.

It looks like the one my dealer gave me, for my first DIY oil change. Its too big, the correct one should measure more like 3/4" OD and about 9/16" ID. You might as well post a pic of the filter as well. The dealer gave me the wrong filter too. There is a downside to having an exclusive car and over-assuming parts people.

wrong part, the part number is N 013 815 7 and the
measurement is 14X20 mm
is always better to change the oil with the engine cold as most of the oil is at the oil pan it
just takes longer to drain

Thank you. Good info as I am on the same boat getting ready to do my first DYI oil change on the car. Now question. Where is the oil filter on the RS4? Also have you guys ever through of using a Fumoto valve? I have used it on many cars and makes the oil change even simpler.

Regards

Nick
