Could anyone help me to understand the color of Mugello blue? (Previous Santorin owner)
I'm curious how the Mugello blue color looks in person compared to
Santorin, Sprint, Nogaro, and maybe even (BMW) Topaz or Interlagos Blue
Thanks!

This is Mugello Blue: http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/121791/img_2126.jpg
This is Sprint Blue (it's lighter than Mugello Blue): http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h136/ghoonk/Audi%20RS4/DSC02441-1.jpg
Nogaro Blue seems to be somewhere in between Mugello and Sprint Blue -- lighter than Mugello, darker than Sprint: http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1231/536593540_55ec5e8ab3.jpg?v=0

I saw those pics, I'm worried in person its very different, i was looking for an opinionated answer
or a photo of 2 colors side by side, alone it is VERY hard to imagine what the lighting conditions of that photo were.
or maybe someone who has seen it in person, commenting on if the picture (for example the one you posted) is what it looks like.
thx

My previous S4 was Santorin, and my RS4 is Mugello. The difference is a little hard to describe...
Here are two pictures taken in almost the same spot at a very similar time of year:
Santorin S4

Mugello RS4

The Mugello blue color is definitely darker, and lacks some of the vibrant royal blue under bright sunlight that Santorin has.
It actualy took me a while to get used to Mugello having had Santorin for 7 years, but now I like it better. Click here for my Mugello Gallery. I think the last 10 pictures are a fairly accurate representation of how Mugello Blue looks in person. I also have a few more pictures in My Picture Poster so take a look there as well.

My S4 had an MTM chip and that's it. I toyed with the idea of doing more, but in the end decided
against the more agressive modding and putting the money into a new car. I was going to get either a new S4 or the RS4 if I could get one.
As many others have written here, the RS4 is head and shoulders above the B5 & B6/B7 S4, which is a huge difference. I didn't have a B6 so can't really comment there.
I absolutely love my RS4. It is the best car I have ever owned hands down. I considered looking at an M3 or M5, or even a C63 but in the end, I need a daily driver and being in Colorado, either of those choices would not be practical on snow days, even with snow tires. Obviously I have snow tires for the RS4, and I drive it almost every day of the year...
