Default Curious: In keeping with Evil Buddha's 'fictional story' conceit, I wonder

if the 155 mph limiter is real or really absent, as it was on my B6S4 (This determination was made purely in the interest of science, of course.).

I have no intention of attempting a personal LSR, but wondered what top speed a US spec RS4 could attain.

Default "fictionally" - an RS4 will go 165 without any sign that it will be stopped.

"fictionally" - I got to scarred to do any "further" research.

Jeff (possibly DrCondor's fictional alter ego) imagines saying: "Thanks".

Default I would like to back up that fictional account with my own fictional account. Only in my......

story my passenger was the one watching the Speedo and screaming "you're over 165 slow the F down"! As I posted in the past we should have an (in theory only) RS4 165+ club. A few seem to have already joined. I would also like to add that after experiencing a cracked rim the family jewels seem to have shrank a tad and any future fictional LSR stories are on hold :-(

Default Heh, I have only a few places with safe and radar proof sightlines, and

242 fps might stretch even my 'fictional' envelope.

Of course, these brakes are sorta good.

In the made-for-TV-movie, would the backdrop be US or European for these fictional feats of daring?
