Default dammit, cops towed my rs4.....

forgot to renew my registration, said they couldnt let me drive. Gave the cops my keys, said it was their responsibility and to make sure they towed it on a flatbed. Also I asked if they could give me a ride to the library in their town so I could print out a new registration. Went back to the police station and 3 hours later and picked up my car from the impound

stupid towing company scratched up my bumper (about 1 inch scratch down to plastic) that police and/or towing company is covering....

Default So "no font plates" is illegal?

I wasn't sure if it was actually illegal or does it matter which state you are in?

BTW: sucks that your car got towed and scratched.

They didn't have to tow the car... What was that all about?

Default apparently the cop said that he couldnt let me drive with an expired reg, i was late for a meeting

so told him he could have the car and I called someone from the office to pick me up. Meeting turned out to be worth more than the car

Default What state are you in that has online registration?

How out of date was it.

Here in NC you have 15 days into the next month to update and then it's still not considered a moving violation if you get pulled over.

I suspect AZ - as they seemed to have Online stuff when I picked up my car there.
