dash indicator light for headlights?
I'm wondering about the light directly under the "S" light in the dash... The one just to the right of the high-beam indicator. It never comes on. In my wife's B6 (and my old B5) the light would come on when the parking/headlights are on. Is it normal for this indicator light not to come on in the RS4? ('07)
Tried searching and couldn't find anything or not creative enough with keywords. Thanks for help.

I don't think so...
the manual shows no function for that space...
to the left of the hi-beam indicator is is the battery, to the right, unused, then two to the right, ESC...
(battery) (hi-beam) (space/unused) (ESC)

...but you can recode the instruments to enable it.
It was one of the first things I did with VCDS (VAG-COM)when I got my RS4 home over 2 years ago.

? for the group. Do you have a indicator light in your cluster that tell you your headlights are on?
