Noice! I had the top down today - only 7.5C and clear starry skies

Default Feel sorry for RS4 owners without snow...

The car is purpose-built for snow and bad weather. I rarely drive it in the summer because there are better warm-weather pieces. But it makes the best winter car I've ever owned, better than a 330xi and a bunch of AWD SUV's. Full winter tires/wheels of course on everything. The car is a freak'n Polaris and makes me a bit of an oddity because I arrive at work grinning and heart pounding, fully invigorated!

Default Well, it was the best winter car I had ever driven until......

I got my Porsche Cayenne. With an AWD system equal to quattro, a low range gearing option, more ground clearance, and the ability to lock-up the differentials, this thing is unstoppable

Default Wow, that's certainly understandable! The RS4 is ground clearance-challenged.

Last night on the unplowed roads with the RS4, the front "cow catcher" (a little train lingo here) was snow plowing for the county.

Default your RS4 isn't going to help the tool in a M3 who skids into you in the snow.

not to mention all the excess wear and tear on the vehicle from salt, sand, and whatever de-icing muck they use in your beloved snow.
