I'm at 250 miles and I'm still loving it. My overwhelming sensation is that the car just goes effortlessly. Driving 100mph feels as common place as driving 75mph in another car. This could be a problem. :-)

For those worried about low-end grunt. I suppose an S4, for instance, with a turbo may beat the RS4 at 0 - 30mph or something but I doubt anyone could seriously be missing much acceleration considering that the RS4 will get you 0 - 60 faster than the S4. As many have commented, the RS4 just accelerates very evenly. There's no muss and fuss about it. Just....zip....and you're at speed. And it sounds great getting there.

Lastly, I'm getting a lot of attention from bystanders. For instance, I pulled into an ice cream shop tonight with my wife and the guy behind the counter kept staring out the window at my car. As he took my order he raved about the vehicle. He was so distracted he got my order wrong. ;-)

Getting your ice cream order messed up. I would have to get a different car. Wait until your pizza gets the wrong toppings. AARRGGHH! Are you sure the guy was not staring at your wife?(Lucky Bastard!)

You compared the RS4 to an S4 with Turbo. Bad comparison. What we really want to know is how is the low end torque compared to its little brother that shares a similar engine.
