Dead key fob. Anyone else experience this?

Make sure it just doesn't have to be reconnected to the car...
Turn the key to the on position, wait 10 seconds, remove the key and try it again.
I usually have the door closed when I do this, I'm not sure if that makes a difference though.

As a kid I loved everything about that car, except for its name. Not so good, marketing team.

Had a professor in college...
