dealer wants $1600 for new pads and rotors

You have a 100% warrantee claim on the rotors but not on the pads. Call AOA and........
ask them why the pad sensors failed. There have been quite a few owners that have received free replacement rotors.

Did you call the dealer? I don't believe the pads and/or rotors are covered at all. As for the Alcon System you will not be disappointed.

During my time at the dealer....
It was rare to see an of the models go over 25k with out needing pads and rotors. Keep in mind however, the minimum spec on the pads the dealers go by is 5mm. 28mm in the front on the rotors. and i believe 9 or 10mm on the rear rotors. So make sure you ask for the exact specs before buying the brakes.
