Decisions, decisions ...

they both have their pros and cons.
if you want a car with a manual tranny that performs better in every way, the RS4 would be the best choice. if you want comfort and roominess in a high performance sedan, the S6 would be better.
having said that, if you're looking at the S6, you should also consider the 750i sport, which will lease for much less than the S6 and perform just as well (only downside being no AWD). we're talking at least $200/month less for a 750i with the same MSRP as the S6.

I had no idea that that wasa the case. I must say that as nice as the S6 is, the 750i Sport is in a
different class or at least is larger, IMO. BTW, I have nothing but good things to report about BMW since I got my 650i sport conv. about a year ago.

Dad has the S6, I have the RS4....
If you don't need the extra room or an auto go with the RS4. My dad likes the RS4 better for looks alone, he doesn't like that the S6 looks too much like an A6. Plus the RS4 has a better ride, in the S6 you feel everything.
Both are great cars though.

yeah, we were looking at the A6 4.2....
...and noticed the 750i (non-sport) had the same lease payment with an MSRP almost $25K higher than the Audi (!). We drove the bimmer and liked it...and they came down even more on the price, so it was a no brainer. The car now has over 11k miles on it, no problems whatsoever, and hasn't even prompted us to bring it in for the 1st service!
