Delivered!
2008 RS4 Cabrio! Daytona Grey, Black leather, brushed aluminum trim, IPOD. Un-****ing-real!! I could not be happier with the choice....
Two things:
1. Anyone have suggestion on winter tires and wheels? Brand? 18" or 19"?
2. Integrated radar? What is the best?
Thanks!

1. Dunlop Wintersport 3D's or Blizzak LM-25's
They make them in 19's that fit the stock wheels or you can get an 18" wheel. 18's will be slightly better in the snow. You might have a problem finding these tires though b/c we are already into the season and they sell out fast
2. The V1 is the most recommended radar. From there you can get a LI-S4 concealed display or the one that integrates into the trip computer display.

Well...
I'm using the stock wheels with Dunlop 3D's and they are great. Not much different then my B6 S4 18's with Dunlop M3's. So, if you can find the tires I think it's a great setup.
As for the V1, the only place to order one and the concealed display is www.valentine1.com. I have the LI-S4 version of it. Mike (LI-S4) uses the concealed disply to make one that works better in the car. Check out my sig for a pic of it.
His email is LI-S4@VooDootec.com if your interested.

Wheels were less than $200 and would rather ruin them than the stock ones. Also the extra inch of rubber gives a nicer ride over the winter roads. This is my first sports car I have driven in the Winter and can't believe how great it did in our 10" storm yesterday. Was zipping up hills that front wheel and 4 wheel vehicles couldn't make . Guess the snows made the huge difference. Congrats on your car, Glad to see more Cab drivers

This is exactly what I did on my RS4. These wheels are also a knockoff...

of the wheel that is standard equipment on the RS4 in Europe so they really look proper on the car, plus they are really easy to clean. My experience with the M3s is similar to yours: great in all bad weather conditions and they pretty darned good in the dry too.
