Looking at a 2007 Rs4 with 19500 miles on it for about 50,500. It is certified preowned and just had new brakes and tires and a full service. Comments on price, and more importantly how well these cars hold up.
Thanks

Unless there's aftermarket goodies attached, should be able to find much cheaper.
I purchased a 2007 with 16k miles for 45K. Needed new tires, was not CPO. Now at close to 45k miles, I'm about to have the brakes done.

Market rate for a CPO with such low miles. As to dependability, mine now has 23k and has had *zero* issues. A new set of tires are going on this week, but that's about it. Best car I've ever owned.

So, you don't think CPO, new tires and new brakes are worth $5k?

I think it is a fair price if the car is exactly what you want.

I have a CPO 2007 RS4 with 45k miles. It has been very reliable. No unscheduled trips to dealer or problems at all. DRC shocks and ignition coils replaced under recall but I did not notice any problems with these items. I did front brake pads and rotors at 30k miles-a $2000 job at the dealer. New tires at 40k miles (I use snows in the winter). The $5000 premium for CPO warranty, brakes and tires is definitely worth it IMO.

Not at all, especially considering nearly 2 years have passed and cars have depreciated further... just for being 2007s.
When I purchased I actually had my finger on the trigger of two 2008, brand-new on-lot RS4s that were discounted to 56K at year end... but I didn't care for the color combos.

There were alot of great deals back then, during the worst of the recession dealers had a huge surplus of new cars on the lot, banks were not lending , stock market was in the tank, people were worried about losing their job. If you bought then you got a once in a lifetime deal on a new car. Things have firmed up quite a bit since then-not sure those deals are applicable to today's used car market.
