Detailing help: White spots on window trim
 

I have noticed I have odd colored white spots on the "brushed" trim. Has anyone else seen this and know what a good cleaning solution is?

Spit did not remove it. It almost looks like a bad chemical reaction. I think it may have been to windex or something like that.

I use Klasse All-In-One on a damp mf applicator...wipe on, then wipe off with a clean mf rag...
same for the trunk lip and grill...
