Disconnect battery or not for vacation?
Leaving for two and a half weeks and trying to decide if I should disconnect or not. If yes, how do I get to the battery and is it easy? Would check manual if I had one.

i didn't drive mine for over 3 weeks with no problems...
If you're worried, disconnect or get a trickle charger. 2 1/2 weeks isn't that long for the battery in the RS4.

I would disconnect it. You don't want your battery to drain, since once a battery fully drains, it is usually never the same again (doesn't hold charge as well or as long, etc).
Also, make sure if you disconnect the battery that you have any necessary codes for various things, if needed. Your car might not have any codes to worry about, but some cars have codes for the radio to function, etc, for security purposes.

Radio codes
they are no longer lost. In 2005 Audi went to a new security feature for the stereo. Now it will not work in any other car, period...codes or not. That's the newer and much better antitheft measure. So, codes are no longer lost if power is cut to radio, such as a dead battery or disconnectiing it. Unfortunately, many thieves are not aware of this.
