stock. I want something really good all the time and don't care about the noise. Track pads would be fine as well.

Default Ferodo DS2500 Club Race pads

I just got these from Zeckenhaus and they were very helpful.

Haven't installed them yet but will post a follow up after Saturday.

Default Porterfield brakes. If they don't presently have your size, trace an outline of the backings

and they will make them for you. Once on file, you won't need to do that step again. Andy Porterfield was/is quite the racer, and they even over-night pads to racetracks if you run out.

We use R4-S at the track and on the street. The rotors don't get trashed, they get up to heat quickly, and we've never had a pad issue or failure in 8 or 9 years of running them.

http://www.porterfield-brakes.com/about.html</a

Default You don't care about noise? Then by all means, go Carbotech XP16's...lol :P

Of course you'll need to "build in" some heat before you use 'em to stop..........

Default I keep hoping there will be a pad that has the built in sensor by the time I need them (not that the

OEM pad sensor works)

Default Try Pagid - IMO they're the best pads on the planet and .....

they come in several different compounds, from High Performance Street to Sprint Race or even Endurance Racing. Check our the link below.

Default I talked to my tech yesterday and he said the sensor is only on the inner pads...

He also said the outers on the Q7 wear faster then the inners and maybe that's happening on the RS4 as well.

So the sensors might be working after all, they just aren't helping Q7 or RS4 owners b/c the outers are wearing much faster and causing damage to the rotors before the inners ever set the sensor off.

This is of course just a guess, but it seems possible.
