Does anyone know how to order the European center console?
I don't really have any intention of using the start button, but I really like the lack of the creaky, awful center armrest that we're forced to live with on the RS4 state-side. It looks SO much better without it. Any ideas on how to get one?

You loose the great cupholder though

Hah - precisely! I can't tell you how many times I've yanked up the the e-brake...
...to see the lid from my scalding hot cup of coffee pop off and nearly create a 'situation'. No more. Give me a nice clean design, with fewer creaks, and I'll gladly trade that for my morning caffeine fix. Well, at least until I get into work.

European RS4's have the armrest as well, they must have removed it for the pic or...
used photoshop.

2nd - some more pics with the armrest
We all like pictures, right? :)

I still like the flushness of the piece. I don't need no stinkin cupholders. Thanks for the links!

omg that's hawt

They come both ways. Mine when I ordered it didn't have the cut out for the arm rest support...
I had to cut it in to put the armrest back in place.

Re; DIY removal - wow, who knew such an agonizing piece of plastic could be so complex underneath!

Did they use elephant ivory for the inside trim? :)
