to run catless dp's your going to need software to supress the CEL as well as...
a shop which will do an inspection and take a blind eye to the fact that the emission control system is fubared. Also in states which use the OBDII Test for emissions I honestly don't think a catless car is going to pass. $0.02.

forgot to add by going catless you might gain HP but...
you are going to loose torque and big time. Also the stock exhaust is going to act like a plug in the system. Just upgrade the whole exhaust and move on.
