Default DRC issues

Just dropped off the car this morning to get the winter wheels/tires put on and instructed them to make sure to inspect the shock for leakage since I have heard that everyone is having problems with them.

Sure enough he called to say the wheels are done and that they have the new front shocks on order and I will need to go back next week.

08' which I purchased about a year ago. I have never tracked this car or beat on it in any way. I actually am probably one of the most timid drivers here. What gives?

Default Nothing to do with how you drive. Everything to do with Audi's faulty DRC system. Some leak on the

showroom floor! Welcome to the club! Make sure they replace both center valves when the replace the 2 front shocks and that they bleed and repressurize the system.

Default I purchased my '08 in August & they are leaking w/ 2000 miles.

It has nothing to do with driving style, just a bad design.

Default And Audi is still putting out leaky DRC on brand new RS4's?!

that's pretty weak...and more than a little shoddy.

Default One word....... STaSIS.

You're probably going to bring the car back a few times to get it right why waste your time.....you should just bit the bullet now and go coilovers. It's the best choice in my opinion

I'm enjoying the car so much more than with the DRC system....not to mentioned the car looks so much better lowered to 26"

Default It is not you

My first set of shocks failed on the boat from Europe. My new RS4 could not be delivered due to leaking shocks. The second set failed at about 4000 miles.

It is a defective system.

What are the symptoms of shock problems people experienced?

Default I just can't believe they're still shipping RS4's with leaking DRC right out of the factory

is there no pride in product or what? I don't know of other mfgrs that provide a new car with a known defect, acting as if nothing is wrong.

Either DRC works or not. I'm begining to suspect assembly or suspension is being botched at GmbH.
