Clunking over bumps, especially when cold. Also floaty feeling. You could also inspect the shocks for oil leaks.

The only time I get a clunk is when I hit a pretty decent sized bump at speed, and even then it's more of a loud thud than a clunk. For the most part, this suspension is pretty quiet and supple. In comparison, my 330i was harsh and made lots of metallic banging sounds when going over any bump larger than a tar strip, so I guess anything is going to feel like an improvement after that. haha! Car feels planted too. This makes me think that either the DRC recall has been done, or the old DRC hasn't failed yet. Will find out next week.

Just jack your car up and inspect the shock bodies for any signs of leakage, or oily residue.
