Default DRC warranty?

Is the DRC warranty 1 year or 4 years 50k? From searches on this forum, im getting conflicting reports as far as the length of the coverage for this part, especially an issue for how often it seems to be failing.

My understanding is 1 yr, some dealers have repaired it outside of warranty though

What are the main signs that your DRC has failed? Is it obvious or would it require you to get under the hood?

Typically, oil leaking is the first sign of DRC failure. Use a digital camera to photograph the damper - if you see oil, you have a leak. Later signs will be what seems like shock/strut failure - push the car down and if bounces up and down without rapidly diminishing to a stand-still, you probably have issues.

If you have a leak, try to get your dealer to fix it under warranty. If they refuse, try another dealer. If you can not get it warrantied, the just go with the Stasis Ohlin set-up

http://www.stasisengineering.com/Category_Select.aspx?VID=195</a

Default It is a fault-prone system and Audi has known since 2003 when the RS6's started having issues.

Was it a mere coincidence the warranty was shortened when the RS4 rolled out?
