Default DTH carbon engine cover - oem hybrid.

Actually seeing the carbon cover in the car, it's not as bad as the pics Vijay posted made it seem. I almost left it as is, but I also felt like doing a project. I first cut the front medial section of the oem engine cover with a dremel.

I then epoxied it to the bottom of the dth carbon cover, and for good measure I placed two retaining screws for some reinforcement. I think it turned out pretty good.

The bottom to show how much of the oem piece was left.

Default I'm with yeah...

Would like to get a carbon splitter and that little part under the deck lid but Youry stopped producing them.

Default will do...

my car has been at my mechanics for the jhm short shift upgrade and linkage upgrade, and I'll be picking up after those parts are installed.

Default yeah I thought about doing this myself......

as the CF piece does look quite good from the top. In the end , however I just felt that on a car like this, I really waned something complete or not at all. Glad you were able to put something together that you are happy with. Please do post pics in place.

Default Re: will do...

You'll have to post your impression of the JHM Shifter linkage upgrade. I have the shifter installed and have the linkage and the bushing in hand ready to go. Just haven't had the time to pull the exhaust pipes to get at the parts.

The JHM shifter made all the difference in shifting the car. That is one mod really worth the time to install!.
