DXBEN - Understand your frustration
Bought my S4 from New Country Audi a year ago and was looking to upgrade also. My salesperson told me honestly that if I leave a $500 deposit you can have a car in less than a month or the worst 3 months. Unfortunately, there are probably 12 other sales people at New Country telling their customers the same thing and because the RS4 is in such high demand it comes down to the first salesperson having his or her hands on an available RS4. If what you say is true, that could account for the issues I'm facing. That said, there was this RS4 on their lot for almost 2 weeks and nobody took it until this past friday.
Had my sales guy called me a day earlier with some info I requested, he would have made the sale and I would be in my new RS4 by this Tuesday.
