Dymag wheels. Opinions?

A story I've heard about Dymag....
I do motorcycle track days so I hear alot of benchracing. Specifically about Dymag was this story about a guy who was running a set on his trackbike. They basically splintered at a very high speed and came unglued off the metal hub. The guy lost his life at Thunderhill a few years back. I don't know if that's true or not but from that story I'd would prefer that my wheels be made out of metal.

Check these out, I talked to Marc at HRE and he said they have an RS4 fitment.

They're custom wheels. They'll have a fitment for anything.
And you'll pay through the nose for them. I owned a set of HRE's four years ago and was not impressed with the quality, materials, sales, or service. Also owned two sets of Fikse wheels, those were the best wheels I've ever seen in every facet.

Beauties, I love them
Dymag, a reputable company with a long history in performance rim making dating back to the early 70's. Many rolling exotics are running on these shoes, some street/track others exclusively track. The rims are a thing of beauty in person and the best looking rims on 997's. If you have the dough to allocate towards this purchase, I say do it. I also agree that the HRE wheels are a nice choice as well, plus you'll have a few extra $100's left in your pocket after the purchase.
