E63...... as in the S6 sized car? At $87K it's considerably more expensive.
I think the focus for many of us is the ability to lay down the available power in less than ideal situations as well as the ability to go around corners. Mercedes has been building some lovely and quick drag racers, but it seems that the traction control light ends up winking at you more often than it stays off. Or you just smoke tires;-)
Unless you purchase a Veyron or some home built monster designed for drag racing, there will always be a faster car

http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/luxury/sedan/112_0702_luxury_sports_sedan_comparison/index.html</a

assuming it's running right, he should walk you pretty badly.
you'd have a better chance from 50mph with you starting in 2nd gear (that's about 6000-6500 rpm to start)...but you'd probably still get walked.

April has a point.....
The traction control light is on a lot in any Benz with power. Quattro = mechanical stability control thus less ESP messing up the fun. 60-120 though is a different story, in theory the Benz should walk away but it does have 2 more liters of displacement and the torque that come with that. Two different animals completely.
