ECS Tuning sent the wrong clamps

ECS Tuning sent the wrong clamps
For the RS4 H pipe. The pipe is awesome, great welds but they included-
get this- 2 x 2.25" exhaust clamps.
The connection to the stock system in the rear is 2.49" and they sent
2.25". They will not answer emails, etc.
What has happened to decent products and services... I am also practically
fighting a hockey vendor of mine over one pair of hockey socks that they
did not send me for a team I run. I pair of CCM socks that cost $9 bucks.

Yeah, they sent the wrong clamps with my H Pipe as well, and the A4 boost gauge I bought from them about a year ago had a bunch of missing parts and instructions for a completely different boost gauge than I bought.
They have been sending the wrong clamps for over a year, and they have been notified of it (there are threads about it here), but they keep sending the wrong stuff.
I only buy something from ECS if I can't get it anywhere else.

They did this to me too, and were complete douchebags when I called them to ask what was up with it. My exhaust guy doesn't recommend using those types of clamps anyway since they'll leak 'sooner or later.' He instead welded the H-pipe and it has been problem/rattle-free for months. Sounds great once the pipe gets coated with soot.

Thanks for the responses. I really thought they were ok.
I bought filters and gaskets from them and some tools
with no problem.
Yeah maybe I will get Farnbacher to tig weld it when I go
up there for my Stasis Ohlins install. I don't really dig
clamps much anyway but I can't see why they won't answer
customer emails.
I called my hockey vendor and they apologized for the second
time and said they will send out the socks, but they are probably
lying lol

John-
How do you like the H pipe? Did you have it welded or did you go with
3" easy clamps? I just can't believe they would send 2.25 clamps- that
is not even possible for that to work...
Thanks

I like it, would like something a little louder.
I ended up getting two more clamps from the Audi parts department - like the 2 front exhaust clamps that come from the factory. The NAPA ones that they send, even in the right size stretch when you install them and they will end up leaking sooner or later.
