Engine cover discoloration
Has anyone had any luck getting these replaced under warranty. They didn't look so bad when they first started to become discolored, but now they are really GREEN!!

I'm thinking of spraying a few extra coats of clear over the top as a preventitive measure. Not sure if it will do any good, but can't hurt.

Actually looks more like THIS.
Knee is coming along. I'm only 3 days out from surgery so it's still very early. Just now starting getting over the real intense pain!! I had my other ACL repaired in 2002. It's a long rehabilitation period. Even though I give anesthesia to others every day, I am still amazed at what a hit it is to your system.

What works is if you open your hood when you get back home to let all the heat escape. That standing heat is a killer for these parts. I realize that it can't be done everywhere you go but it can be opened while it cools off in your garage.
