Euro RS4s have push button start?!!
I think I'm late to notice but saw that the Euro-spec RS4s have push button start on center console. Anyone look into adapting it to our cars and what is involved? Just curious.

You can get the start button - but you loose one cup holder - the ignition switch now works the same
just turn the key and it takes over the start function and keeps the starter motor working till the engine catches. You don't have to hold the key in the start position

Agreed. Mine has the start button, but I still need the key
The proper way to do this is to have the keyless entry system setup, so that the system unlocks the doors when you get near, and when you get into the car, all you need to do is apply the clutch and press the starter button, with the key still in your pocket.

everyone knows cupholders are more important than a silly start button
with cupholders, you can fill a cup with water just 1 cm short of the brim, then work on your touge skillz (Initial-D joke, sorry)
