euro springs on US car.. anyone?
I think I would be interested in getting these as they offer around a 1/2 to 3/4 in drop as quoted in the specs plus my dealer approved the mod..
but somewhere didn't a tuner report the front ride height is actually higher than the US spec springs?
What got me wonderin was the pics mixja's sport plus suspension..<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/rs4b7/msgs/75868.phtml">sport plus</a></li></ul>

I have the SSP, the front is not higher then stock...
I don't know of anyone who has done the springs only though or how long the stock shocks will last with them.
Car with SSP:

I was wondering the same....
Does the SSP have stiffer springs and shocks as well? Is it bumpier than the stock suspension and does anyone know how it compares to the Stasis/Ohlins Suspe?
Thanks
Thanks

if you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for the ssp? Did it come on your car or did you put it on afterwards? What all is included in the ssp?

I really doesn't feel much different then stock...
On bumpy, uneven roads you feels it more obviously, but for highway and regular driving it feels very similar. The car is slightly bouncier now as well when hitting big bumps, dips etc.
As for comparing it to the STaSIS MS's...I had the MS on my B6 S4 and loved them, but since I don't track the car at all I didn't see the need on this car. I like that I have just one setting, less to think about. Plus I wanted to keep the RS4 the way Audi designed it and since the SSP is an option in Europe I knew it would work well with the car.
That being said, if the STaSIS SL's were out when I was making my decision on suspension I would have strongly considered them over the SSP. simply b/c the SSP still uses DRC and that means more things "could" go wrong.
I would also recommend the MS's to anyone who doesn't mind spending the extra cash or tracks their car.

IIRC I paid around $2000, but it might be more now. It came with 4 shocks, 4 springs and a rear sway bar that is the same as the stock sway bar. The DRC fluid was purchased separately.
