Not only is it quite a bit thicker and much more ergonomic, it is also...
over an inch smaller in diameter than the stock US wheel. Forget the NA buttons - this is a drivers car and the music comes from under the hood, especially in S mode. If you want to listen to music and control it and your phone from the steering wheel you bought the wrong car.

The wheel looks great, but like many others I am hesitant to give up the control features in the U.S.-spec wheel. In the event I do get the urge, how did you guys get the Euro wheel and what was the $$$ damage?

Several companies offer the wheel: approx $600 for the wheel + $600 for a new airbag
Search the forums and you will find the companies that offer it.
