European VS American

Re: European VS American
Being not living in the US, I have the "benefit" of having the Euro steering wheel and the seat. Here is my humble opinion about them.
The steering wheel is really gorgeous and add that special feeling in the cabin. They are really as good to hold as they look. The front seats, are also gorgeous to look at and has the same effect to the cabin as the steering wheel. However, as an everyday car they are really a bit too "strapped in" and really hard to get in and out. They are really comfortable once you are in but getting in especially you really have to watch out for your manhood.
Just me .2 cents

European wheel, American seats ...
That's what I chose to order on my RS4 Avant.
IMHO the RS4 isn't an RS4 without the Euro steering wheel, the plain "vanilla" wheel just isn't special enough for an RS model.
I tried the Euro seats and found them just so unbelievably uncomfortable that I went for the no cost option (in the UK) of the RS4 specific Recaros.
One guy went for the buckets seats and hated them so he looked into the cost of changing them for the Recaros ..... $13,000 fitted!!! A costly mistake ... it was cheaper for him to trade-in his RS4 and buy another one, which is what he ended up doing.
