Exhaust question
I just bought a GMG exhaust (cat back) and was wondering a down pipe is necessary. I spoke to several people and they all told me that the down pipe wouldn't add any hp as the factory cats are pretty high flow. Is this true? Also, what other mods are out there to increase HP?

DP's will add very minimal hp if any at all. It will make the car sound different (louder) as well..
There are chips out, but for the minimal increase in hp/tq it's not worth it to most to risk voiding the warranty.

Almost nothing to really increase power on this car.......
Engine is in a state of near maximal tune. I'm amazed that people don't get this. A normally aspirated V8 with a 12.5:1 compression ratio and an 8300rpm redline from the factory. How the hell do you think you are going to produce more power? From where?
