Default Experiences with RS4 on track

Thinking about doing a few events this season with the RS4...what are the weaknesses/achilles heal if the car is stock? (e.g. clutch, brakes, etc) I am running in blue/white run group typically in my p-car (intermediate/solo)

Thanks

Default Stock brakes work great, stock suspension sucks.

Turn in just results in more and more body lean until you apex and release steering lock. It also has the usual stock suspension understeer tendency. I'm hoping the Stasis MS suspension will cure these ills.

Power is nice and linear, I just need more of it ;-).

STASIS is the cure to all your problems.....

if you continue to track the car, you will experience brake problems as well. the alcon 6 pot setup is the way to go....there is NO comparison, stock brakes work great for the street, I experience fade usually after 3 or 4 braking zones, so generally before the warmup lap is up....I generally go green with fade....not so with the ferrodo race setup on the alcon from stasis....call Jason at Stasis...

Default Yes, I anticipate the brakes will be the next weakness to show itself once I sort out the suspension

I wouldn't mind getting ceramic brakes if only they didn't cost so damn much.

Alternatively, the new AP Racing Radi-CALs look quite interesting.

http://www.autofieldguide.com/columns/1207euro.html</a

Default

It's all about the brake pads, not the calipers/rotors.
