Extended Warranty
Hey Guys
My warranty on the RS4 expires on Monday. Any recommendations on who to go with for an extended warranty? Fidelity wants $4000.00 for Platinum coverage for 3yrs (yikes!)

The price you were quoted seems high...here is the break down I got when I was looking. I was shopping for extended warranties just in case I bought one that was running out soon. These prices are for cars still under manufactures warranty:
10,000 miles or less...
5 yr / 60K - $1259.00
6 yr / 72K - $1912.00
10,001-25,000 miles
3 yr / 36K - $1714.00
4 yr / 48K - $2222.00
5 yr / 60K - $2653.00
25,001-35,000 miles
3 yr / 36K - $2370.00
4 yr / 48K - $3188.00
3 yr / 36K goes to $3187.00
4 yr / 48K plan is $4181.00.
If the car is out of warranty then you have to get the car checked out prior to this company providing the warranty.

Wow my carmax warranty was only $3k for 100k miles and I bought the car at 41k...and I have zero deductible....and the warranty is very inclusive...I just used it for a faulty low oil sensor at the dealer $400...and I was told to just tear up the tranny as much as I need to..if anything is wrong they will just replace it...and my girl bought a 335i from carmax and needed a new turbo within one month of buying it and they replaced it under warranty $4500!!

Wow that's pretty amazing what car max does! Good to know.
I have 44k on mine so it's going to be north of $3000.00 I was hoping some dealers were selling them at a discount. I got one on my X5 extended to 1000k for 2500.

there's a company here in Canada called ensurall that offered a 5 year 100,000 km warranty (from date of issue) for around $4500+13% tax. So $5000 ish.
This was a super thorough warranty, all work done at Audi, no deductible, and covered everything, including the navigation system (which for some reason was a few hundred extra).
