Just wanted to give everyone an update. Had the fan control module replaced. Took a couple of weeks to get the part from Germany. The front bumper, belly pan, and both rad fans had to removed to get at the sucker! Amazing!

The car is running great. past the break-in period now. loads of fun!

Apparently all repair parts come from Germany. Like I told Audi USA this morning its amazing that we can put a man on the moon, yet we cant get a GD part on a jet from Germany to California (or wherever) in a reasonable amount of time. Spending this kind of dough for a car, and to have these issues with parts and repairs is in my opinion unacceptable.

some parts unique to the RS4 are in early production(along with the car) and may be in short supply so far, and/or being used to satisfy Euro demand first. So, US customers may have to wait longer than usual.

Same issue the S4's have. Had mine replaced also.
