Farewell Mon Ami
Love my 07 RS4, but the kids are growing up and I need something bigger. Picked up my new S6 last week. It's a great car, but the RS4 has a certain "je ne sais quois".

I sold my 2008 2 door / 6 spd manual S3 (Stage 2+) ... 380HP because the kids were growing. Had to be one of the most fun car I ever drove. It broke my heart but lucky me, I found a B7 RS4 Avant so for now everybody is happy!
Good luck with new car ... I am sure you will miss that manual gear box and that RS4 "je ne sais quoi". I am discovering it now and I know what you mean.
Cheers!

S6 has gotten great reviews - and when the kids are older you can get a RS3 that should be a great replacement for the RS

I have had my S6 for just over a month, and have not yet found a buyer for my 2007 RS4, which I still drive occasionally and still enjoy immensely. The S6 is astonishing, but if the RS4 doesn't sell, I will feel doubly blessed.

In a more perfect world, Audi would have stuffed the S6 engine in the RS5 (which has only a modest power bump from the RS4), and a higher tune version into the S6...but my world is perfect enough for now.

Sold my RS4 today after taking it for a last drive yesterday. After driving my S6 home tonight, I know what it is that I am missing.
When I shift gears with the S6, the DSG is so smooth that I can't feel the car change gears. The inside of the cabin is so quiet, that I can't hear it change gears either. With no clutch, no noise, and no movement, driving the S6 is like playing a video game.
My S6 is an awesome car, but the RS4 was a heck of a lot more fun to drive!

I love the S6 and it's a fantastic car. You'll enjoy it for sure, but will always miss the RS4. I wish I could have both but learned that owning two personal cars for myself is too much of a hassle with regards to garage space and especially maintenance and upkeep. Heck I already have 4 cars and 2 motorcycles, don't need another one but ohhh the S6 would be soooooo nice
