Fault Code 01044 after euro wheel install, help...
Is this code always thrown when a non RS4 airbag is used (I believe i have an A8 airbag)? I'm just wondering how the computer knows its the wrong bag, does it read and check a parts number against an internal database? Can i be assured that if i go out and find an RS4 bag it will stop throwing the code? If the airbag aint gonna work when i need it too i'll go get the correct one but if its simply a computer error... someone please edumacate me if you can....
I also changed the coding to unlock all doors with one touch of fob and it works correctly but now my car beeps every time i lock it. Any thoughts?

Yep, and its coded correctly, at least as per everythign i've read in this forum (06021)....
Cleared everything and re-scanned, still throwing it.
