Default A few options for an upcomming car (RS4 being one) wanted to get some thoughts.

Budget is gonna be around 50ish. Some options of intrest that are all at that price point....

-RS4 CPO
-S5 V8 CPO
-S5 V6 3.0T (very few options) new.
-C63 AMG CPO
-E63 AMG CPO

The S6 and S8 where also on my list, but after driving the S6 it just didnt do it for me and the S8, while not driven yet, might be a little large and more then what I need.

Having owned 5 A4's I am familiar with the body size and styling (3 of which where B7s). I dont care for the B8.

Coupe or Sedan. I can go either way....the coupe in my current varient, a TT, will be to small in the future, but a GT two door, the S5 would be fine.

Thoughts?

Default Nice list, I had the same cars on my short list.. Im wondering if the s5 or the rs4 would be better

Ive had a b7 before so its really a tossup, but its looks like the 07 rs4s are going for low to mid 40s so it might be a better deal

Default on that list, I would pick a 3.0TSI S5

best looking, best MPG, most tunable... I figure that car with a chip and pulley will hang with, if not flat out beat, an RS4 in a straight-line dash.

Plus, that chassis is great, and with less weight up front it's even better, IMO. Will it be available with the sport rear diff?

So you'll be handing in your free RS4, then, right?

No e90 or e92 M3? Do you drive the car all year round?

Default mom has a 335i its meh to me. hate the interior.

See notes above on the M3. Great preformer and respect it but ugly in and out imo.

Default further will BMW even CPO the M3? i know they wont on the M5 or M6.

Also another point...at 6'5" I do not fit well in the BMWs either. Coupe I don't fit in at all.

Default it's possible that after a couple years with it, I'll feel differently

but if I were shelling out my own money for one of the above, I'd like a coupe and something modable. Thus, the S5 3.0TSI
