Default FIFTH WINDSHIELD?? WTF!! How many have YOU gone through?
Ok...poll time:

How many windshields have you put in your B7 RS4?

I'm on my fifth... with 30K miles on the car.

Back story:
I've owned 43 cars in my life. I drive on average of 30K miles per year. Been driving since 1982. Since then, I've had a TOTAL of two windshield star/cracks....total...out of all my cars combined.

In THIS car (my RS4), I've had it replaced now FOUR TIMES.

There is something very, very wrong with this glass...it is less crack resistant than any piece of windshield glass.

It's not a matter of luck, miles driven or any other influence which is what I hope to prove with this survey.

So, please take a moment to report how many miles you have on your B7 Audi and how many windshields you've been through.

Ive broken 1 in 20k and this is the only car ive ever broken one

Still on my first, but I have a TINY chip in it. Not worth repllacing at all, though. 23k miles.

i'm on my 2nd in 32k miles...and our freeways are clogged with gravel trucks.

still on the 1st windshield in the B7 A4... had it since 2/08 and put 12k on it.

Default 2nd in 22K miles. It's a direct correlation to your tailgating habits.
If the front of your car is paint-chipped, you need to back off.
