2007 RS4
Imola Yellow
8500 mi
2 yr 8 months original warranty
CPO +2 yr/50k miles
no options, no sunroof
great deal, car is 'cherry'
500 miles so far
~23 mpg on the HW for 250 miles at 70 mph
I'm coming from 18 years of M3's...
this car is great, a different 'feel', but great none the less, easier to drive AND faster...and rides very nice...very solid feel to the car...
the shifter is one of the best I've worked...
the brakes, great modulation...haven't really heated them up yet...
engine, a piece of engineering art...the flexibility, the range, the sound...those engineers should have got a bonus...iirc, the chief project engineer also worked for BMW on the M3 engine program...
very neat features on the car, very nice build quality and paint job...
a couple of nits to pick:
armrest/e-brake interference
the pedals are offset right a bit much, it will just take time to get used to
other than that, simply amazing...
the true test will be living with it for years...
I never tired of the M3's, looked forward to driving them every single time, I'm thinking so far, the RS will be the same...time will tell
