Default Doesn't look all that exciting to me,

kinda like a bland 3-series coupe.

Default 2nd

Of course once it's a real car, I suspect maybe we'll feel different...

Default Heavily disguised. The A5 is the Nuvolari and it will put the 3 series coupe to shame.

Especially with the RS4 engine in it. Difficult to see past the ugly disguise.

Better, although the beltline is a bit IS350-ish for my tastes....

I think that's what draws me to it. Always liked the shape of the TT and even the Merc CLS for that. The A5 is the one car that keeps me from jumping into the RS4. When it comes with either the V8 FSI or the V10, it will be one nice coupe.

Default When it comes with a V8 or V10? When will that be? 2050?

I mean, who's even heard a rumor that this car will come with a V8? Let alone a V10?

This is keeping you from the RS4? The RS4 won't even be in production by the time this car comes out in a V8..

Default Why so skeptical about the marque that you drive?

A few of us were let in on info regarding the upcoming platforms and engine choices for '07 through MY '09 where they showed a marketing presentation of all models including the A5. They communicated a base model V8 and top model V10. They have already tested a V10 FSI turbo in the Nuvolari (there is video footage of this) over a year ago.

BTW - As much as I like the RS4, the thought of a Nuvolari coupe with the same engine (or larger) is very desirable to me. Not to mention the new platform with better weight ditribution. As much as I like the RS4, the platform is based on the B6 which as we all know is nearing the end of its production life cycle. I can wait the extra year or two for the return of the Audi Coupe.

Default not skeptical of the marque, skeptical of your reasoning

let's just say that if you've been around this forum lately you'd know that there is no shortage of very subtle knocks against our car and our antennae are extra sensative. i can't really tell if you're FOS or not, although i'll give you the benefit of the doubt, sort of.
