Default Follow-up post on the rear wheel "spacer" issue....

...I looked at it a little closer, and I'm not so sure it's a wheel spacer. It appears to be part of the rotor itself. Here are a few pics....the first one shows the embossed part, which in hindsight is probably referring to the min. thickness of the ROTOR, not the spacer (duh):

But it does definitely stick out beyond the surface of the rotor. Here's a (blurry) shot of the front rotor, where it meets the wheel...no protrusion here:

I know, the wheels are dirty....I'm working on a budget powder-coating program. Oh BTW, someone asked about the battery, so here's a pic of what you see when you lift up the trunk mat:

No spare tire, huh? Not a surprise on such a lightweight machine...

Default nope..."extended mobility kit"

i.e. air compressor and canister of goo. actually, just having the compressor would have been good enough for 90% of the flats I've had. Good enough to get me to a shop, that is.

In BMW parlance, we call that the liquid bubblegum dispenser.

Default looks like the same design...

...though it appears the B7 hub protrudes further away from the rotor.

Default Maybe there's shoes under there for the parking brake?

Definately it's 20.4 mm minimum thickness for the rotor, though.
