I need to get my car inspected and it needs a front plate. I bought it w/ the RS4 grill and the part supplied by the dealer does not fit. They swear its the same for the A4 and S4 but I have to disagree. I think I need an S-Line or RS4 style one but do not have the part number. I just want to save the 30min trip to the dealer.

Below is some info on the filler panel. The A4 part is different. You need something like 8E0 807 --- <b>C</b> 3FZ or 8E0 807 --- <b>E</b> 3FZ where the dashes are the numbers corresponding to the filler, C = S4, E = RS4, 3FZ is black (which is my guess on the color). just zip tie the front plate on the grill and take it off when you get home.
