Laser detection only tell you that you're getting a ticket. Lidatek solves that problem.

Let us know (pics even better) of where they put the transducer. I've heard it's a problem on the new Audis. Many of us will be watching closely.

I have Lidatek + V1 in all three of my vehicles. Haven't had a ticket in 24 years. Just wait until you see the look on the cop's face when you jam his Lidar.

The issue I see is that the openings in the RS4 grille aren't large enough for the entire lidatek to clear. My plan was to dremel the grille just enough right below the license plate filler piece.

Is there just not enough room behind the grill to mount it or is there just no where to attach it to that is horizontal ??

I have a black 05.5 S4, delivery on RS4 Phantom is 12/06. Currently I run x50, mounted real low, just off dash, with lasershield on plate, veil on plate and lights....i have a heavy foot. I have been hit with laser many times, but three times in excess of 90, and have not been pulled over...once on a ski trip to maine was following 3 cars in excess of 95.....x50 went nuts jammed brakes..others were all pulled over, not me...also, if you looks at the 06 guys of lidar test results, all jammers performed poorly within 200ft...Once my RS4 is in, it will get either the M20 extreme or AL.......i would HIGHLY recommend geting rid of the front plate, or get the shield and Veil...

get the zr3 shifter, it will integrate with your 8500 for a clean install.

Because with dual heads, the grill covering a part of each diode is not a problem in my experience (on my IS, its behind a grill and I have had no problems yet)
