Gossip from Evo Magazine (UK) on Audi RS vs BMW M

"The last 12 months have seen a remarkable turnaround in how we view its cars -the RS4 has seen to that- and it's interesting to reflect on how much influence just two behind-the-scenes engineers migh have had on this change. Audi poached two key engineers from BMW a while back, one chassis specialist, the other responsible for the engines used in the M Power range. The RS4 was the first product of their work together at Audi, and npw we habe the R8. The dynamics of the RS4 must have proved too much for BMW, as earlier this year it poached the chassis engineer back again. At this rate it makes you wonder when they'll be taking the engine specialist back too".

This is very common in the industrie. The competition amongst the German...
car manufacturers is extremely high and as I have said before in this forum, it can only do use good who appreciate German engineered automobiles.
