Got the beast last Friday :-) Already with 1100km(650miles) and first oil change tomorrow..

I'm so happy that I needed to share with this forum! Got the beast last Friday (spint blue) and immediately next day I went on a trip to break in the first 600 miles... (got two speeding tickets this weekend too...) The car is simply AWESOME! All the comments I've read the last couple of months in this forum by other owners are so true.. I'm addicted to the acceleration and sound of the engine/exhaust that I simply let the car slow down and accelerate again :P What a feeling.. Can't take my eyes of the car when I park it and the part I like the most is the back!

I also freaked out when I checked oil level before I drive back (@ 300 miles). I had to add 2 liters of oil to get the level to the middle of the stick. Not even MAX... After checking again at 600+ miles the level was almost at the same spot. I guess some @sshole had removed oil.. I've heard they do it while transport to sell it!!

anyways, I applied the RI RS4 break in method and tomorrow I'm scheduled for the first oil and filter change (@ 650 miles). I'll take my own oil -Motul 8100 E-tech 0W40 10 Liters (almost 11 quarts I think)- which I hope is enough!!!

the service guy was very surprised with this call :-)) Unfortunately (RI RS4) we don't have any company in Greece to send the factory oil for an analysis :-( so I'll just use your posted recommendations and experience on oil and break-in..

I want to deeply thank everyone in this forum that has posted valuable info so far on the car..I'm using every bit of useful stuff.. I hope I can contribute something too! :-)

Oh, yes, some photos will be posted later on!

What a car this is...

nice to have another Thanos with an RS4 on board!

Congrats and don't forget the pics!

I did promise some photos!! Didn't I ? :-)

hope they look good on the web, cause no photo is doing this car justice.. It looks far better when you look at it :-) But then again, I may be biased!!

and yes, it's with the 18" wheels (Pirelli PZero Rosso). 19" are on their way but I'm thinking to keep the 18" for next year for winter tires.. (Conti 3D). To be honest.. not too much snow in Greece but I'm going to track some next year :-)

Enjoy the pics!!!
