Default Gratuitous RS4 Cabriolet pictures (BWW)

Dealership received it Friday, won't be ready for delivery until later this week, but they let us go drive it around a bit. I was really impressed that I could take the SD card out of my phone, pop it into the RNS-E and it recognized all my mp3's. First impressions, having never driven an RS4 before: Suspension definitely feels stiffer, but more composed (DRC?) than the '04 S4 cab it will be replacing. Much better control over clutch to throttle modulation (no more occasional shifting chop). Definitely feels more powerful, hard to say how much until break-in is complete. Hopefully these pic links will work. I'll put a link to my offsite gallery, at the bottom, with all the photos. These are the picposter edits. Also, if anyone is in the market for an 04 S4 cab in Red/black interior with 24k, awe cat-back and chipswitch, let me know ;-P Off to STFA for break-in advice.

Default Why don't they just let you have the car?

Mine arrived at the dealership Monday morning, the 22nd, and I took it home that evening.

Default that's BS...they should have done it for you yesterday.

or at least let you take it and detail yourself. they probably want to keep the car around so other potential customers can look at it.

Default I used to live in Cary, NC and hated to deal with Leith Dealerships

I saw the address and the window sticker. I can't say Leith isn't the worst, but they are pretty bad on both the sales and service side. So it doesn't surprise me to hear they are pulling that type of crap. I miss living in NC, but don't miss dealing with those guys.

Hope they "release" your care to you soon.

Default Agreed, Leith has improved alot

He wasn't ready to pickup the car this weekend, so it's not a big deal. I personally haven't bought anything from them, due to the high pressure tactics they used on me in '01 when I was looking for my A6 and the way I was treated subsequently after buying from somewhere else. They have improved alot, and I'm one of the last people who would ever make that statement. His local dealership, Pecheles, makes them look like saints by comparision though.

Default congrats!

I'll be curious to see what you think. Love the RS6, are you planning to keep it as well?
