Default Great forum. Can any one help? Parts question.

I have waited years to get some of Audi's best product availible here in the states. After several trips Ingolstadt and Neckersaum (sp?), I finally purchased an RS4. It is not my daily driver, so I need no lectures on comfort, etc.. I would really like to aquire the steering wheel, ceramic brakes, shifter and seats that everyone else in the world can buy. Audi corp is no help (even though this is my 9th Audi), German dealers don't seem to responde to my request. Does any one know how to aquire the parts? Is a day trip to Englands or Germany required to purchase the hardware and have shipped back? Thanks for the help.

Yes contact Alex. I think you would be better off with a BBK and not the ceramics.

Default Rival Motorsport can get what you want, ask for Scott...

The ceramic brakes are amazing, but I don't think they are worth the price you will pay.

Default Buy the seats used on eBay Germany...

otherwise you're looking at over $10k for the seats alone (and still have to put them together - not available as a single whole unit)

Ceramic brakes are close to $10k also - better off with Alcon's especially if you plan on tracking the car.

Shift **** is the same unless you go with the suede version.

Default thanks

The suede wheel and shifter are the versions I would like. I am going to check out Rival and the other vendor suggested. I have other cars I track. I just want my RS4 to be "euro-perfect". Thanks for your help. One of my employees told me about this site. It is great to speak with like minded car guys.

Default Sorry, BBK = Big Brake Kit but seeing you just want to Eurosize the car and don't need the brakes...

For tracking then I guess a switch to ceramics is what you want. Beware that besides the known or obvious hardware changes there might be some less known parts to change. You would need to confirm with someone that as access to all brake related parts and their numbers on both models to make sure what exact parts are needed for the conversion to ceramics.

Good luck with the project.
